Thanks, unfortunately a chicken hawk got a hold of him. I couldn't believe my eyes when it happened, and that's because I live in town!

Often my young cockerels are bolder and slightly more independent than their sisters, and tend to get eaten by hawks more often, at least here. And my 'keeper' Chantecler cockerel decided to suicide by entering my fenced dog yard this summer too.
