Slow Night Here In Quailville

Who needs it to be warm? I like riding in the snow, last time I rode across the creek on top of the ice. When it's warm I usually get stuck there... Happy birthday Peewee, mine is the 16th. I can't decide what to do that day, four wheeling, deer hunting, squirrel hunting, or feasting on my grandma's cooking. Aww I might do all of them since it's a three day weekend.

GET R DUN!

YOU CAN GET UP BEFORE DAWN, RIDE THE 4 WHEELER OUT TO YOUR STAND AND DEER HUNT UNTIL YOU GET BORED THEN SHOOT SQUIRRELS TO DEFEAT THE BOREDOM AND RIDE BACK TO THE HOUSE AND EAT! AND THATS JUST THE 1ST DAY!!!

Yep, and the second me and my buddies will make the 7 hour ride to the sand cave and then freeze our butts of trying to get back in the dark. Maybe I'll take the truck half way??? But then I have to load the four wheelers on the trailer.

JJ I know I saw a post of your brooder set up some where. Can you repost or direct me there? At least I think it was yours. Don't you have all your totes in racks? I'm getting an old office trailer for my brooding and hatching, and will have enough room for stacked brooders and that sounds like the only way to do it indoors without a huge mess. Would like to see it again if possible?

ETA: I just found a post where you describe yours, guess yours are not in a rack. I wonder who that was?

ETA: ha, just found another one where you describe the rack, guess it is you!

I Do Use A Simple Rack System In The Brooder Room In The Barn For Tempid Times Or Older Chicks... I Simply Installed The Wire Closet Type Shelves Around The Walls And Slide My Rubbermade Totes On The Shelves So I Can Double Or Triple Stack Them And Open Up Floor Space As Its A 12 X 12 Room And Houses All My Chicks When Temps Allow Or My Older Chicks During The Winter + A Feed Barrel, A 2 Wheeled Dolly, My Spare Flourescent Light Bulb Stash, My Stack Of Clean Brooders And Spare Heat Light Assemblies, 4 Garbage Cans, A Bejesus Load Of Spare Light Bulbs And Misc Other Junk.... So Floor Space Can Get Tight When Your Loading 18+brooders Of Chicks And All That Junk In There

Biggest Times Of Use Are During Warmer Spring And Summer Months As Thats When I Am Cooking Massive Amounts Of Pheasant Eggs And Space Starts Getting Tight.

Basically I Have A Concrete Floor For Teir 1, Then About 3-31/2 Ft I Have Another Shelf For Tier 2, And Again At 6 Ft On 1 Of The Longest Walls Fpor Tier 3
