Sorry to be so long in posting these, DH is in hospital awaiting back surgery and it has been a little hectic. Here are what I have been told are cinnamon quail. a female, then a female with two males.
Note to self and others:
When trimming trees and you decide to cut out that little laurel that sprang up over a water line, be careful.
When using a hatchet to bring the little stump down to ground level so the ducks won't hurt themselves, be extra careful.
Because if you cut into the water line that you layed to bring a faucet not 3 feet away, (which should have reminded you of what was underground), you will take an unexpected shower and have to turn that line off. Then you have no convenient water to the backyard where all the birds are.
Oh, I won't be washing cloths until its fixed, because that drain is next to the broken line. Convenient at the time, not so much now.
Thankfully DH set up a sink out there and its water comes throuth the house on a different line. Woooooo. So I don't have to use water buckets to water any of the birds. I hope.
Maybe, I don't want birds after all. It would be so much easier to be a vegetarian.
Since the title of this thread is "Slow Night Here In Quilville", I am now going on record requesting many, MANY more posts! We are getting an additional 24-30" of snow over the next 36 hours, I will be sitting here in front of the computer waiting for every new post to avoid running the snow blower any more than needed
