You know I have had more non-paying bidders for quail eggs than any other eggs that I sell. It is really frustrating.

Mine was for a chicken plucker. The person made like 5 best offers until I took one then he refused to pay. I think they were just wanting to see how much I would sale it for. The bad thing was that they didn't ask to be let out of the deal they just refused to pay & said "I didn't commit to by I just made a offer". They just didn't care. So I filed a non paying bidder report to get my selling fees back. Then they had the nerve to "tried to put a strike on me beware of his best offer he will get you!!!!!!!!!". People just amaze me.

There are quite the conspiracy theories flying around in this thread.

I've edited/deleted several posts. If I took out yours, please don't take it personally...probably, you just quoted one of the deleted ones and your response to it wouldn't make sense now that the post is gone.

As for auctions... Like all things new, there will be some tweaking here and there to make things comfortable and beneficial for everyone. Nothing with the new auction system is set in stone yet, except for the fact that yes, things are going to have to be posted as auctions or "buy it now" from now on. Nifty's programmer is gone for two weeks (on vacation), and in the meantime, Nifty has been compiling a To Do list of all sorts of updates and changes to the auctions that need to be made to make them better for everyone. The changes are going to take time. There will be growing pains. Patience and understanding is needed from everyone.

As for the "only GFMs will have signatures & BYC pages," that's a bit over-the-top to assume that, don't you think? That is just not going to happen. As for the comment about the "private forum," any GFM can tell you exactly what the GFM forum is for and what the Staff does and does not allow back there. It's spelled out in a rules sticky right at the top of that area. I, for one, have locked and moved threads in there that should be on open forum for everyone to participate in. Most of the posts back there are for people who want their custom titles changed or want to thank someone for gifting them with a GFM. There are also a few threads Nifty started for testing new features. Other than that, it's not a very exciting place. Random Ramblings is way more fun conversationally, as far as the social side goes, and that's open to everyone.

The BYC Staff wants BYC to be the best place for chicken owners -- and yes, quail owners -- to participate in. If you have questions about the new features, have suggestions for the forum, or are just worried about something, please come to us instead of venting here. You won't get anything figured out or solved if you don't ask. PM or e-mail any of us at any time, and we will try to help you as best we can.

Good job! THEY did hear you! LOL.
Have to agree about the GFM forum. Nothing there except title changes and we hear about new features a couple days before everyone else. No actual chit chat. I seldom even go there.
As for the auctions. I will be seriously watching all this tweeking because I have never posted eggs that didn't sell here and since the change I have had 2 auctions that didn't sell and 1 that is listed and I am having my doubts but we'll see. I am trying this new way though, it just hasn't worked for me yet, but I will keep trying it. Maybe it is just the time of year but Ebay eggs are still selling.

As far as actions go I'm going to hang back & see what happens. The way they are setup now isn't worth my time to put it together to look nice then it ends in three days or as soon as someone buys one. I just hope people will pay attention to the signature.

I Can Never Get Pix Uploaded To This Site--- My Auctions Are Gonna Look Like.... Well, Uh Lets Just Say They Wont Be As Nice As They Could Be!
