As Bad As It Sounds A Bob Cat Or Coyote Once In A While Would Be A Nice Change From The Monotonous Raccoons, House Cats, And Possums. You Know A Little Variety In Targets
someone just posted this somewhere else, had to share...
"People that have a burning desire to correct issues in others should just have children. That way, you can keep all your friends and only your children will be bitter and resent you."
I shot one four times with a 270 and it didn't kill it. Then my dad got it when it ran out in the field. It made a pretty hide. I use it as a rug in my room and the deer hide makes a nice chair cover.
I made a HUGE mistake when I put my JB eggs in lock down on 7/31. I thought I would try letting them hatch in the paper trays. So I added the water plugged the vent holes and went to bed.
When DH got up for work and checked the bators one was dripping with water from the windows and read 99% humidity.
I imediately got up and removed the wet cartons and dried out the bator and put the eggs back in. The humidity dropped to where I like it to be for hatching and a few hours later there where pips. Nearly every egg pipped but didn't hatch. I got 10 good chicks out of the 15 that did hatch. I helped about 3 of them and only 2 of those where ok. The others have crippled legs. One seems to be coming out of it but i'm gonna have to put them down i'm sure. I had about 30 eggs in there and they would have all hatched if I hadn't nearly drown them.
