Slow start to 2011 breeding season???

I've had geese since 2005 but the last 2 years have been goofy.
Not sure what to make of it.
I know they will start up pretty soon but was wondering if anybody else
was have a slow start to the 2011 breeding season.

Mine just started, and I live in a warmer region. I just got egg #2 yesterday. I wouldn't worry about it,.. even my ducks are taking their sweet time this spring. I'd rather this than laying eggs in December (which happened to me last year). Here's hoping my husband can handle egg turning while I'm at shows... which is the only potential complication.

I got four Muscovy eggs and one very dirty goose egg on Friday....so we had cleaned out their pen, moved their shelter and I added about 1/2 bale of fresh straw in there on Saturday morning.

After we were done, my goose went in, made a nest, sat and came back out. No eggs. But I did see the gander showing some interest and showing off to her...but no actual mating yet....
