slow to feather

I hope it is not a rooster, "she" is getting so pretty! comb still quite small and underdeveloped, so here's crossing fingers. But given how slow this one has been to mature, and the comb is still a tad larger than my pullets of the same age, I'm guessing pretty boy will end up as dog food if no one wants him on CL
 
I'm going to say cockerel for now. But post new photos in a few weeks; by then, its gender should be more obvious.
Pretty sure you're right on rooster since the companion was another rooster. Both defected to my neighbor's yard, and I haven't seen either in weeks. He was a beautiful bird! We really need a better fence.
