Hello everyone, I'm Babblingbrook but you can call me Babble.

I started off when I was little and I lived on a farm with chooks, about five. I would run outside everyday and play with them for aaaages. Mum says I even had a favourite chook - Rosie - that I carried around wherever I went.

Nowdays, I'm seventeen and have my own flock of hens and one rooster I got free from a mate recently. Over in Australia it's winter and pretty **** cold, so no eggs. But come spring I will most likely breed my rooster (Oscar) with my favourite hen (Vanilla cupcake - don't even ask)

Hi Babble! Congrats on getting your own flock and welcome to BYC!

Thanks! So far I have two RIR's, one mix breed of everything, one andalusian and a rooster who's breed I really can't identify.

Alright Babble,

G'day, and welcome to BYC, Babble! Glad you joined the flock. If you want to post a photo of your unidentified breed on this thread, some of us would like to have a shot at identifying it as well. Good luck with your flock.

G'day mate, if you get homesick, we have a mighty nice thread for you"Australia, six states and one funny little island" Welcome to the flock
