Slowly losing 2.5 week old chicks

Give them some electrolyte water, see if maybe that will perk them up. I'm so sorry for the loss and that you are having problems. It can be very frustrating.

I'm dying to know what happened also. I use the same feed for my chicks and they did not do well in the beginning UNLESS it was soaked. They started to slow down and were fine when I started soaking it. It wasn't clear if you were soaking it all the time or not. We have 14 very healthy chickens now who are about 9, 11 &12 weeks old. We lost one on day 3 (very weak when we got her) and the breeder REALLY wanted me to buy them something from the feed store. I just knew it wasn't the food, so I didn't listen. You didn't mention garlic in their water or eggs. Are you doing that? Garlic kills everything bad so I use it. Also, I used to put a little vinegar in the soaking water and that made their food smell a lot better to me. Otherwise it smelled a little funny if it soaked too long. Anyway, I don't think it's the food you're mixing. Just my opinion:). Hope they're okay!
