Slug Slime

Slug slime stuck all over beak. Grass and dirt stuck to it and in their beak now. Tried to lure her to the water but…she’s got a mind of her own. Do I need to be concerned about this? Surely they can unstick themselves and clean up?

She'll probably wipe it off on the dirt and bedding in due time.

My girls only ever tried a slug once and never touched one of the slimy things again. They kept wiping their beaks on the grass over and over.

Some of mine will eat slugs on occasion, but the slime is clearly off-putting. They'll eventually wipe it off their faces on their own.
