I got 4 chicks, approx. a week old, from a gal who ordered them from McMurrays. Three of them appear slightly larger and fiestier. The little gal likes the warm bulb, and sleeps more than the others. She is pooping, grooming, and drinking, but she's not a ball of fire.

How do I give polyvisol/vitamins? Do I dilute it? thanks!

I had a chick like that... I was so worried, but I just checked on her more, this chick sleeps alot mine dident eat or drink much, but in the end shes fine, shes 6 weeks old now and every active.
I thought maybe it was the breed but.. I don't know

As long as she's eating & pooing and her eyes and nostrils look clear, just let her be. If the others start running all over her, maybe put her in a small box elsewhere in the brooder. Good luck.

I have 1 also that sleeps a lot while the others run around her but she does eat and drink and poo so I think she is ok

If she is eating and drinking and the others aren't trampling her I'd leave her with them. Make sure she is warm and just keep an eye on her. She may have had a rough trip. So, sometimes some just hatch out a little weaker and they the trip is harder for them in the mail when they get jostled around etc.
