I have a cameo peahen, she is about a year old. She started acting sluggish about 3 days ago, so I brought her inside put her in a pen and put a heat lamp over her. The pen is big enough for her to get avay from the light if she wants to. However, she hasn't been eating, I don't think she drank anything, but I'm not 100% positive about that. There aren't any avian vets that are familiar with peafowl around here. She is still standing, and she still looks at me with that annoyed look. I read that hard boiled eggs might entice her to eat, so i am boiling them as a type. Now that she is inside, she is moving around a lot more, but she still didn't touch her food. In a week is when her scheduled worming is, but I'm scared to worm her if she is underweight. The only other things in her outside pen is another peahen and a peacock, and a pair of khaki campbells. The other peas don't seem to bother her and they will lay tpgether. Sometimes they will get "jumpy" and run from one end to the other making noises, and the ducks have their corner claimed and noone traspasses back and forth.
Any ideas?
