Mine eat them too! In my area slugs and especially snails can host worms so you’ll want to pay attention to that. My vet told me she sees most worm issues when chickens have access to wooded areas.
I figure it’s the price for having happy chickens!
Yikes! I do have wooded areas around me but they don’t have access to the woods.
When the vet asked me if my chickens free range in the woods I said no. I got home and realized 50 acres of woods are 20 to 30 feet from my coop!
