I know that tail feather is what is worrying you. I do not think you have a male. So far I am not seeing any saddle feathers coming in. Your bird is still young but I think you have a gal there.

Side note....
That bird does have one messed up toe on the left foot. I had 2 that had curled toes and lived an active normal long life. I do not think it is something to worry about just know you may have to trim the nail on that toe for her at some point down the road.

I did notice her toe. If it doesn't bother her, it doesn't bother me, but I will keep an eye on the nail. Thanks for the info!

You are welcome. I know those first real tail feathers will make one second guess everything. The BA's tend to grow weird tail feathers at about that same age and always make me look twice and listen for a crow.

I am glad you are ok with her toe. I figured you had already seen it and just wanted to share my experience with similar issues.
