SLW 6.5week chicklet?

Info on the Silver Laced Wyandotte:
We got her 3/24/10 as a day old chick from a feed store that Privett Hatchery supplies.
She was sold as a pullet.
We tried to vent sex her and have no idea what we're doing.
She is the best one! Such a lover and cuddler (even better than the Dark Brahma)!
Her coloring/patterning seems worse than our GLW.

We have been calling this one "Silvie."

What's your vote?

Kind of hard to say, she is pretty young. Don't see anything obviously male.

Still pretty young to tell for sure. I've got some a bit older and the roos have just in the last week or so started becoming obvious.

The lacing is pretty typical for a hatchery SLW.

It's pronounced why-un-dot ....like the Native American tribe.

Thanks for your help. I'll post updated pics in a week or two... Sounds like the Wyandottes are slower to develop the secondary sex characteristics.

Hmmm, do you think she's awful red by the eyes/ears for a girl at this age? Our GLW of the same age is much smaller and has developed wattles last week so we're pretty positive he's a boy. What do you think about her? She's our favorite, second only to our Dark Brahma.
