slw can't walk suddenly?

There really are not a lot of options if it were a leg deformity. Slipped tendon is one of the more common ones, while there are others such as tibial dyschondroplasia and rotated or twisted tibia. Slipped tendon sometimes can be treated successfully as a day old, but rarely afterward. A sprain or broken leg would have a better chance of getting better, but breaks high in the femur do poorly. Let's hope it is a vitamin deficiency, since that has better odds. Here are some links on bone deformities to read:

Well she seems fine, some blood in her poop today? She's eating a lot, I have her comfy on a big microfiber towel, so she can stay off her bad leg. She's drinking plenty, doesn't have an off smell, she smells like hay.

How long has she been off the Corid? One poop with blood in it probably won't be a big deal, but I would watch for more. Intestinal shed lining can look a bit like blood, but is stringy and and a little more orange.

It's kinda orangeish. We're building out a huge brooder box for the barn to put the 6 chicks in my bathroom in, out of 2 closet doors and 1/2" hardware cloth on both ends and planning on putting her cage at one end to socialize. Gotta get chicks outta the house!

Running to get washers.

She's still alive. What I think happened was the meaties don't roost at night, they puppy pile on each other. I think she got her foot crushed.

I started adding poultry cell to her food today. I moved her cage again, cleaned it, put in a new fresh dirt bath, she's happy!

I've been taking her out to the side garden a couple of times a day to get out of her cage and get to be outside on the grass for a bit. We chatter, and I help groom her as the last downy halo falls from around her head. She loves to be with me and yes, I have taken her to watch game of thrones on the sofa with me.

The injured slw now goes by the name Wobbles
400
and is growing, happy, chatty and able to stand better on her feet! Yay Wobbles!

Unfortunately this means she will be living the rest of her life in chicken hospital, the others don't like her anymore but I might put her in with my ayam cemani chicks she shares a wall with
400
this is my set up with the closet door brooder box and chicken hospital at the end both ends are covered with 1/2" hardware cloth so they can visit and be social and I can make sure Wobbles is eating enough and her cage is big enough.

Poultry cell, nutridrench water with electrolytes and vitamins, 23% protein non medicated chick starter that I ferment for my a/c & haffie chicks in the brooder box seems to be helping her.

Wobbles is all healed up!! Yay! I couldn't integrate her back into the flock, but now she's rooming in the barn with my ayam cemani & haffies and is quite happy being the biggest bird in the big box. She's eating, roosting, drinking, flying, talking.

Thank you for giving me suggestions on prolonging Wobbles life, now she's going to get big and yummy!!
