I have 15 chicks, all around 10-11 weeks old. I know I have at least 4 SLWs out of 7 that are male, but not sure about 2 of them. I’ll show some pictures. They are from TSC @ .50 a piece, mind you, so their feather quality isn’t consistent. The first pic is of one chick, a feisty small fry. The second has weird feathering.

I have 2 SLW I got at 16 weeks. They started laying at 20 weeks. Boy are they hard to tell apart. But one, Thelma, has more white around her pea comb and down her hackles. She also lost a toenail. Probably in a hurry to get down the walkway out of the coop. Louise doesn't have as much white on her head and hackles. Skittish birds they just now at 24-25 weeks will timidly eat out of my hands. Don't like to be picked up or held. Good luck. Mine laid all winter and only now miss 1-2 days out of 14.

WindingRoad, mine are also skittish about contact. The males are not as fearful and will eat out of my hands. Love the Thelma and Louise names.
My mother died when I was 3 years old. I never really knew her nor do I remember her. I knew my sister would get a kick out of a chicken being named after her. She is gone too. But I wasn't sure about my mom. So after I named Louise I had to think of another name and then Thelma came to mind. Good luck with your chickens. They ate blueberries out of my hand the other day. Just had to break them in half. Not the chickens the blueberries. LOL
