Hi,
I have a 8.5 week silver laced Wyandotte bought as a pullet (hatchery bird) that I’m suspicious might be a roo. The comb began turning more red than the GLW I got at the same time around 4 weeks, and the lacing pattern is less even than the GLW. Plus all that wattle 🙂 this morning I noticed some iridescence on the tail feathers as well. Can anyone more experienced with wyandottes give me some insight on if this is indeed a rooster or just a different maturing hen?

Cockerel..... in addition to the significant size and, more over, color of the comb and wattles relative to age, note how the lacing is not even over the whole body, particularly on the wing bow where it gets blotchy
