Thanks for that. now i just have to cross my fingers that they are all pullets
after looking at them & the shells there is only one im not sure about who the mother is
#1 is from a blue orp
#2 is from Black orp
#3 is from buff orp
#4 ??? could be the buff or could be from a barred rock or several dif girls

#5 is from a splash orp

they are all growing & changing so fast. i did try to feather sex them at a day old just out of curiosity & also used a pendulum over them a week later. got similar results on most of them. but i will see when they are older as to the results of my tests.

#1 pullet both tests.

#2 F = pullet / P = cockeral.

#3 F = cockeral / P = pullet

#4 pullet both tests.

#5 cockeral in both tests.
