small 1st eggs, will they get bigger?

I know this has probably been asked before, and I tried to search for it but my computer is not working well right now and keeps coming up w/an error, anyhoo..

My chickens just started laying last week and the eggs are pretty small. They are standard size chickens. Will the eggs get bigger?

Yup, pullet eggs are always small at first then they get bigger as they get regulated. She will be a couple weeks more than likely!

Thanks guys, I'm not complaining, even a small egg is exciting, I was just wondering. So you think a few weeks then?

yep, a few weeks to 6 weeks and they will be 'full sized'. it's neat to see them shape up and enlarge as they go along.
