Sometimes they do pip in a weird way and generally they still hatch out just fine.I am one of the hatchers that is more "involved " than some. If I see a pip on the Underside, I turn the egg so it's right side up. I have lost a couple babies leaving them upside down like that so I'm hyper anxious about it!! I've not lost another yet, so what I'm doing can't be all bad. I barely open the incubator, and just stick something thin in there, like a Butter knife and push it till it flips over.I'm not seeing any liquid from the upside downer. I occasionally hear one loud cry and panic a bit wondering if it's in distress.
I've been glued to it for days already! I thought this would be so fun to have some hatching easter eggs for my son, but I've never been so anxious in my life!it's like watching water try to boil for 3 weeks.
Thanks so much for all your words of wisdom.
