Small black chicken with white spots

Small bird and black with white spots. Ancona was my first thought.

So far the Ancona is the closest. How small do they come? The chicken breed index says they are standards.
Silkiemomma, if I'd know 10 or so years ago I was going to want to get some one day, I would definitely have taken a picture!

I think its a mottled cochin bantam.

My Ancona is the smallest bird in my flock (7 birds) - but the first to lay an egg. Although she's the smallest, she is the top of the pecking order.

Anconas are smallish even though a standard, about the same size as a jaerhon or a little smaller than a leghorn.

bantam mottled cochins are adorable. They're pretty small, too, but VERY fluffy. Was it fluffy or sleek?

there are bantam anconcas, they are harder to find.

Do you remember what its comb looked like, or the color of its legs?
