Small chicken in the cold

The first time I saw a picture of a sebright bantam I knew I had to have some. I couldn’t find a hatchery that sold small order sexed sebrights, so I got light brahmas and now I am hooked on chickens for life.

I got a sliver and a gold seabright bantam, a raccoon just got the silver, one time I raised a seabright bantam with a turkey, and the turkey loved that little bantam, and cared for it like a baby, if the hens picked on the bantam, he would totally lose it and chase down the hen. The bantam always stood between the turkeys legs. The turkey need a pal and that was the only bird the feed store had.

That is so adorable. Do you by any chance have a picture of the 2 of them?

My boy turkey died after it had gotten its head stuck in the fence, it wanted to eat grass, then he was not able to just pull back his head (he was not stuck-stuck but he didn't know it)and he struggled and his body won. After that i swore I would not have turkeys anymore because I was too sad about it. Then this last thanksgiving, a friend said take my girl turkey or someone will eat it. now I have a girl turkey, who is very sweet, but always pecks my head when I collect eggs.

She's gone. She' always always ALWAYS out at the time and most of the time with Red.. :( it hurts my feelings so bad. I thought I was doing a good thing by rescuing them and here I am letting them die. I've been in tears.
I'm so sorry! This happens and it's not your fault. Keep looking though. My friend @RodNTN had a chicken missing for 3 months I believe and it turned up one day completely fine. Don't lose hope just yet. :hugs I'm praying that Pebbles will return home again very soon.
