small chicken

i have a small chicken and it wont grow ive had it for a month and it grew all its feathers and it is as small as a week old chicken....

Do you know what type of chicken it is? Sounds like a bantam. It might always be that small Small eggs too, you can tell everyone you had a twelve egg omlet since it might take that for a good size omlet

It might possibly be a bantam. They grow much slower than standard breeds. If you could post an image we might be able to help you.

Hello and welcome to BYC

It may be a bantam chick you got there. Otherwise it's one of those itty bitty things we get sometimes that will not grow. I had one last year, she died aged 5 months and she was 1/4 of her brother's size. I'd suggest adding vitamins to her water, feed her high protein snacks like scrambled egg and mealworms and fresh greens like spinach or alfalfa (luserne), if you can get hold of some. Good luck!
