Small chicks

Hello and welcome to BYC!

How old are the larger fully feathered Barred Rocks? They look older than 5 weeks, more like 3+ months? The small chicks do look 5 weeks old. Keep them all on chick starter, fresh water daily and lots of lovin. The little ones should grow up just fine.

Older ones are 2 weeks older maybe a little more...around 8 weeks old

Yes they are definitely much older than the 5 week olds. I think the 5 week olds are right on track in size.

I'm just surprised. They are the smallest chicks I've had at that age. I just hope all of their feathers come in soon or it will get to cold for them

Are you in the northern hemisphere? They should be fully feathered by winter, if not, definitely repost and let us know!
