That coop is adorable! I'm amazed they don't hop right over that lattice though.

They don't, I thought we would need a lid, but they don't try. I was scared of hawks but they just run in the bottom to safety. I am sure if your chickens were flighty they would try.

I know I have a big Red Tailed hawk in my neighborhood (I've caught him eating pigeons in my yard), so I want to make sure the girls are as safe as I can make them.

We are so proud of our coop. I designed, my husband built and hand painted.

I love yours too. We are gonna put wheels on ours too. It is a work in progress. Is it easy to move with those wheels? And what kind did you use if it is easy.

Solid rubber tires with bearings from TS. And oh my Lord! It would be impossible without them!! This thing weighs about 800 pounds!

The wheels make all the difference in the world. Don't skimp on the wheels or the axle.

Had to add an axle brace because the weight bowed the axle!!!
