nope. unless you never clean her cage then you get a horrible smell from the shavings. just make sure you clean her cage weekly.

Your room will smell like pine trees from the shavings. thats it. but like I said clean it weekly or better to clean it every 3 days and all should be fine. chickens dont stink. its just the shaving after a while.

well ask if he has bantam sized chickens. After that check them over and make sure they look healthy. look at there eyes. They should be alert. See if they have been tested for deseases. If he says yes they been tested. Ask to see paper work.

That is a good site. Type in backyard chicken info in yahoo or google search as well. But forums like this are usually better to ask questions and look for info because there is always someone to help out
