Small egg at 12 weeks?

One of our 5 sex links layed an egg in the run today. The yolk was smaller than a quarter, and the shell was very light tan. I just bought a 50lb bag of chic go. Should I continue feeding it, or do a mix of layer?

I would mix layer feed IMO. The eggs will gradually get larger. Sometimes the hen will skip a day and the next egg will be larger than the last.

Well, we got another one today. Small, perfect brown egg. We put the nesting box in, and I am going to start mixing the layer feed.
