Small eggs from 24 week old RIR

Just curious. I've been getting pretty small eggs from my new RIR hens. They're about 24 weeks old. They will get larger, right? I have a few older RIR hens that give me nice big eggs.

The eggs start smaller and slowly get bigger. The hen needs time to stretch out, too big of eggs initially wouldn't be good.

Thank you. I figured that was it but just wanted to be sure. This is my first time raising chicks to hens. The hens I do have I bought them as mature laying hens from a neighbor.
