Hi all,
My wheaten pekin (cochin) hen had a bit of a swollen head last week and one eye closed. I treated her with antibiotics and the swelling has gone, she's eating and scratching and pooing, but she now has a hard lump the size of a ball bearing under the skin next to her comb that I've not seen before. It's anchored and almost feels bony. Any ideas?
