So after looking at it more, it definetely was a prolapsed vent. And she is actually a he as I could see his genitals exposed. Thankfully I was able to clean the vent with some saline and with some gentle massages I was able to get it back in. I am not 100% sure what to do now but I’m going to keep him in the incubator for a little longer as it has more moisture and I worry about the vent drying out even if it’s back in now.You sure that's the Cloaca.
Looks like an open navel to me.
Keep it clean, apply triple antibiotic ointment and keep her on clean dried bedding.
once I know he is good I’m going to move him to a brooder probably tomorrow. The other goslings I ordered are supposed to be here tomorrow so the timing should line up. I’m noticing a little bit of splay legs but it’s nothing I haven’t dealt with before
