Small or Medium run?

HI All,
I'm a bit confused as to what size coup I should be looking at for housing 6 hens. Do I need to go to a medium coop size?

The general rule of thumb is 4 square feet per bird in the coop, so if you have six hens, you want a coop that is at least 24 square feet minimum, but bigger is always better. Also, be forewarned that you may have six now, but chickens are addictive and you'll probably end up with more that that, so I always recommend building bigger. Oh, and:
