SMALL ORDER Peeps (MPC&Meyer's) to arrive TUESDAY! Who's waiting too?

Lots of people getting lots of chicks. I was just wondering who's with me waiting for just a few from MPC's/Meyer's Small Order Program?

I tagged on one more today for a total of 5 chicks with a hatch date of February 23rd.

4 EEs and 1 BR - all pullets

I am so excited!!!

I ordered, but my order has not yet been confirmed from MPC. I don't know if I will be getting them on the first hatch date or later, I am hoping for the first though.

I just placed our very first order today. I ordered both from Ideal and MM. Ideal will ship March 20th, MM will ship the end of April :-(. Can't wait for the little peeps to get here.
Sorry if I mislead anyone. I don't think my order from MM is small, 36 plus the free rare one. My Ideal order was smaller, 6 of each color of Frizzle, and 6 Milli Fleur d Uccle. They did charge me a small order charge. I am looking forward to getting them. Going to spend the time I have to wait building the brooders.

Wow I had no idea Cackle and McMurray even had SMALL ORDER PROGRAMS! (I think Ideal ships as few as 10 so I guess that could be small order to some

)
I really liked Cackle's chick instructions -so detailed with the water temp etc.

I pre-ordered with Meyers and they already called and gave me a hatch date of 23rd a week or so ago. I called again today to add 1 BR pullet to my already confirmed 4 EEs and they said no problem.
So all of my Meyer's chicks should be in San Antonio by Feb 24th!

I was going to order from MPC! But their wording let em to believe that their chicks quite possibly could be Meyer's chicks anyway so I figured I just order directly.
But I also didn't get any bantams. I think MPC would provide bantam sexing so and Meyer's doesn't.

So what are you getting!?!?

I ordered 10 peeps from Ideal, but before I made the call I talked to this place I'd never heard of before - not even on here - called Healthy Chicks and More - who say they specialize in small orders. They are in the same state as Mt. Healthy, so I emailed them to see if they're related to Mt Healthy, and they responded that "Mt healthy & Healthy chicks are not owned by the same person however they are related and both use the same quality breeding line."

I then asked them if they had the "real, darker" RIRs or just the production line, and they said "Yes they are Dark." Anyway, thought that was interesting. I'll start a new topic and see if anyone has ordered from them or knows anything about them. I didn't bite the bullet because I am CHICKEN (bawk!) and don't want to be the first person to order from a new place...
