After sadly losing my beloved flock to a fox recently, I have decided to rescue 2 or 3 ex-battery hens to come and live with us this spring.
I need to get rid of the old hen house (which was our old converted garden shed!) As it has deteriorated in our bad English weather and is no longer suitable to house these precious birds! It is also not secure enough as I've discovered the hard way.
The problem is, I don't have much money and second hand runs/coops seem few and far between! If anybody has or knows of anything suitable, please let me know!
