Smaller Chick with Poo on it's bottom

I have one smaller chick that has poo caked up on it bottom.. What or how is the safest way to remove the poo with out stressing the baby out to much???

Get a damp, warm rag and hold it on the little one's bum. It should break the poop up and

make it easy to just wipe off.
