Whats the smallest breed of turkey you know of ?

That seems to be it but I'm hoping there is something smaller out there. Maybe theres something in the works.

Bantam turkeys would be pretty cool!!

Midget Whites and Beltsville Small Whites are the smallest. Toms 18 to 20 pounds hens 10 -ish. There are rumors around the "turkey world" of people breeding them smaller. they are shooting for a 10 to 12 pound tom and a 5 to 6 pound hen. In my opinion it will be very hard to do and a long breeding program to get there. It's not easy to breed a bird down and reduce it's size as you have to breed the runts and the unthrifty birds to get to your goal. That alone tends to cause problems.
