Hey all-

Anyone use 2" pipe in their automatic PVC feeder?

I would think a 3/4" or 1" may clog but wonder if I could get by with a 2" or 2.5"?

Reason being is that the only way the feeder inside my run without trying to go through chicken wire or hardware cloth is through a 5.5" 2x6. I am not excited about the prospect of drilling a 3.5" hole in the board as the hole saw would probably cost more than I am losing in feed! ;)

Thanks!
Andrew

I have the same question, but my reason is I want one small enough the ducks can't get into it. I would still make one big enough for them. my 2 ducks are very messy, wasteful and they don't like to share with the chickens.
