Smallest duck?

I'm a huge fan of the Welsh Harlequin. Beautiful birds and my hen is pretty quiet (compared to my Cayugas, anyways). If you want tiny ducks, you could always go the call duck route. I have some and they are amazing. So friendly. They can also fly but ours just do a loop over the orchard and garden and then back. They like their digs ;)

X2! Call ducks! And they come in lots and lots of beautiful color patterns.
I do have one drake that will fly off, and even be gone for a few hours. But so far, he has always come home before dark.

Sorry I am late to this thread....Mallards would be the smallest in the list. They will fly so clipping there wings would be ideal. Saxony's and Welshes are good. They don't fly and are not that big. Like someone else said, you could go with call ducks. Clipping there wings would be ideal too!
