Smallest fairy eggs

Finally got around to cracking one and yes confirmed, no yolk.
Thing is this wasn't a fluke' I've found 3 more over the past few days. I'm thinking one of my girls is laying these regularly. Anyone have a chicken who lays these regularly?
Thinking I've got a "defective" layer. LOL
Did you take pics?
Fairy, fart, wind, rooster eggs are usually from a tiny piece of tissue breaking loose from the reproductive tract, or an immature ova(yolk) and the body forms an egg around it.
Knowing what egg was formed around might tell why she is making them.

I do have photos of the eggs themselves, but not once cracked. Easy to do though because whoever it is lays them regularly. The shells are super hard, and only whites inside, no yolks. I'll take some pics to upload later on when I get home from work.

Yep, Pretty Much.

Do you mean all birds lay in the same nest?
Put fake eggs in all nests to 'spread the love'.

BTW - yes, all 8 lay in the same nest. They have 4 perfect nesting boxes. They have "fake" eggs in them. instead all 8 have chosen one single location under the ramp inside the coop. Of course it is the MOST inconvenient spot for me to gather and very annoying.
Now that warmer weather is here I plan on stripping every last ounce of bedding, hay, etc out of the entire thing and start from scratch. Maybe that will help. I clean the coop regularly, including making the nesting boxes as "inviting" as possible. Still a no go.

Post pics of your nests too....they must not be perfect if they won't use any of them.

Can you block off the area they are laying in and maybe they will choose the nest boxes.

Have all your hens been laying 'normal' sized eggs before the fairy eggs started to appear?
Sometimes a pullet just starting to lay will lay an undersized egg, maybe two.

Again, with all of them in 1 area laying it's hard to tell. I know there are 6 out of the 8 that are definitely laying and all full size (some huge!). 2 of those are 2 bantams. I'm actually questioning my 3rd bantam - my polish. I have never seen her in the nesting boxes or where the girls lay, she does not have the same "response" that the others have (when you pet them they tend to squat). She doesn't. So it's "possible" she just started laying and it's just taking her a while to get those full size eggs rolling?

Here. This is what I got tonight.
