LOL! You guys are reminding me that I've got 2 turkeys in my parents' freezer.

Unfortunately, DBF and I haven't heard from my mom since the day we were going to take my mom to the ballet (1/30) as her Christmas gift, and she came up with every excuse in the book not to go... AFTER we'd gone out of our way to get the extra tickets! DBF gave her a piece of his mind and all I've heard since then was a very curt email. Oh well. She's leaving town in April or so. My turkey will last until then and we can have access to my dad again.

Wonder if my friends coming from Germany in May would like a Thanksgiving dinner?
