i have 3 geese eggs in my bater and they smell more than my bater with 30 eggs in it do goose eggs smell more my other bater has no smell i candled them today and all looked well they are any ideas:th

are you sure the eggs are good? When I incubated my quail eggs, they smelled a bit. I think they were kept in cage too long. Some of them had poo on them. So I guess it has to do with the way the eggs were kept before incubation.

You may have an egg with bacteria, if they are old enough to candle do so, if its bactieria it will show up as a dark mass. Gently immediatley , bacteria eggs will explode. If it does wash with hot water and anti-bacterial soap.

I agree with Pipermark, eggs should not smell bad during incubation. Make sure there is not one that is oozing.
