Smelly chicken coop..need help!!

Smelly is sometimes from overcrowding or under-sanitation, but most often IME is from DAMPNESS.

Thus, go take a look at my 'fix a muddy run' page (link in .sig below) and do as many of the things as you can -- even if your run is not muddy as such -- and I guarantee it will improve your smell situation.

I resolved the problem of a smelly and muddy run by putting a clear plastic corrugated roof over the run, no more rain and the chickens now sleep on the rafters all year round...
