OK, a light sussex hybrid hen approx 1 year. Absolutely fine yesterday (but I know chickens hide symptoms) and she laid an egg. Today she is sitting a lot, tail down, orange stain on feathers around vent (blood?) and it smells. Can't describe the smell, maybe a tad fishy? Similar smell from mouth but not as bad. Considered empying her crop but it was empty. Wondering what to try next. TIA
