I am currently raising a 4 month old turken hen and when transitioning into a pullet, she has been having extra smelly poops. It’s not just the cecal poops, but all droppings smell. I always make sure to give her clean water and she is currently on layer feed. Sometimes I give her some small fruit and veggies to nibble on. She does not seem lethargic and is actually energetic and her cloaca appears healthy. I am worried that she has an underlying infection or condition since the smell is reminiscent of rotten eggs.
