can I use powdered lime to keep down the smell? or is it bad for the girls?

Diotemacious Earth or SAND would help.

i use food grade DE ... works like a charm. will help dry the land out too

DE also helps prevent lice, mites, ticks, etc. and can be added to the food or treats as a de wormer

I put DE in there food and in there coop. haven't tried it in there run. seems like you would usa a lot.

ehh mine run as stinky a couple days ago because we had rain for a week and im in clay so the water just sits

I have a 25 lb bag of DE and I only sprinkled maybe a 1 gallon small bucket of it. maybe less but it took the smell right away
