Yeppers and later season eggs have a better chance of being fertile than early season ones....Rooster get more potent as daylight is longer and brighter......

Proof which way??

Proof that washing eggs isn't the horrid egg killer I've seen it touted as in spots. I've only gotten over 50% with shipped twice, once was the washed eggs.
