What about a choice in preferences where a person can decide on a full or abbreviated choice of emojis???

This one gets my vote as well, those emojies often help people to decipher how the sender feels as opposed to having to "assume" what the intended "emotion" is behind the words. Helps to keep hurt feelings to a minimum. For that reason I think the more the better. IMHO

Kind of funny...I voted on the 1st post early this morning and come back to 4 pages of posts about smileys (or is it smilies?).

I like to use them but if what's available isn't here, I just go online and get one I do like. Then I can upload it whenever I want.
