Smoke Inhalation

Help! I came home and my husband with good intentions has a fire going in the pit. The girls are in their run but it's pretty close. When I say we have backyard chickens, I really mean small back yard chickens. The girls are doing their thing and I'm trying to wave the smoke away from them. How worried should I be???

I think that they will be fine. If they were being impacted by the smoke, they would move away to the far end of the pen.

Ahh thank you for putting my mind at ease. My husband said I was over reacting but he doesn't love the girls like I do. They are acting like there's nothing new happening on the other side of the fence.
