Smoke Near Coop

I’m thinking about getting some quail. I’d put the coop on my back porch, for easy access and the ability to light it easily when the days get shorter. But there’s some grills back there that see occasional use (a couple times a year). Would the grills, which are charcoal grills, be dangerous to the quail?

I wouldn't think so unless your porch in enclosed, as in with glass, I don't think there'd be enough smoke to bother them.

I would think they would be okay, especially since you only use them a couple times a year.
