Smokey air?

Currently, we have a wildfire going on, and would there be any way to help our chickens get through this safely? Our air has entered the very unhealthy range. And I really don't prefer locking them up in their coop, for example, will garlic or something else help them out? They are on magic water and are going to go on corid this week...

Not much you can do. Garlic, or any other things won't help with keeping their air sacs healthy. Hopefully there's no lasting effects, and hopefully the fire isn't anywhere near you.

I'm thinking the same thing. We are totally smoked in today and I'm praying that this smoke doesn't hurt their little lungs permanently. I have fans in the two coops, I doubt that helps at all. They were acting happy this morning. We have some N95 masks we are wearing to go outside today. Good luck to us! Beyond the smoke in this photo is a lake, believe it or not!
